Animal Lymphatics Institute

The Animal Lymphatics Institute grew from my passion for massage, animal wellness, and education and is an educational extension of Wishing Wellness LLC. I’m Lara Cavanaugh, a Licensed Massage Therapist with 20 years of experience in human massage, an IAHAP Board Certified Animal Bodyworker, and a trained canine, feline, and equine massage practitioner. My journey into animal bodywork has allowed me to combine my years of hands-on massage experience with my love for animals and my desire to help advance professional education within this growing field. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with Holistic Animal Studies in the development of animal bodywork education, including the Animal Lymphatic Massage certification course. The Animal Lymphatics Institute allows me to continue sharing my knowledge through approachable educational opportunities focused on the animal lymphatic system, lymphatic massage, and its place within professional animal wellness and bodywork practices. My goal is to help animal professionals and bodyworkers better understand this gentle modality while emphasizing responsible practice, professional boundaries, and working collaboratively with the veterinary community when appropriate.
